Football Recap: Globe Tigers vs. Arete Prep CHARGERS
After flying high against Santa Rita last Friday, Globe came back down to earth. The Globe Tigers were just a hair shy of victory on Friday and fell 7-6 to the Arete Prep CHARGERS. The Tigers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the CHARGERS apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2023.
Despite the loss, Globe still got an impressive performance from Jeremiah Foster, who rushed for 108 yards and a touchdown.
Globe now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Arete Prep, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-0.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Globe will venture away from home to face off against Tombstone at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Arete Prep, they will take on Glendale Prep Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
