Baseball Recap: Sullivan East Comes Up Short

The Sullivan East Patriots came up short against the Lebanon Pioneers on Friday and fell 5-2.

Sullivan East saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kaden Hicks, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Sullivan East has also been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-9 record this season. The win got Lebanon back to even at 2-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sullivan East will head out to challenge David Crockett at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The last three games David Crockett has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Lebanon, they are taking a road trip to face off against Eastside at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
