The Coral Glades Jaguars will head out to challenge the Spanish River Sharks at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Coral Glades is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last four games.
Coral Glades gave up the first runs last Thursday, but they didn't let that get them down. They came out on top against Pompano Beach by a score of 8-5.

Haleigh Thomas looked comfortable as she struck out seven batters over three innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off four hits (and only one walk). That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in May of 2024.
On the hitting side, Cameron Marques was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and one double. That home run was her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Briana Escobar, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs.
Coral Glades kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least 11 hits in four consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Spanish River's offense. They fell just short of Western by a score of 2-0 on Friday. The Sharks haven't had much luck with the Wildcats recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.
Giselle Portanova spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned runs on seven hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in nine consecutive appearances.
Coral Glades now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Spanish River, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-5.
Spanish River's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Coral Glades hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .333. It's a different story for Spanish River, though, as they've only averaged .256. Will they be able to contain Coral Glades' hitters?
Coral Glades suffered a grim 8-1 defeat to Spanish River when the teams last played back in April of 2024. Can the Jaguars avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
