Travelers Rest was handed a four-goal loss in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Thursday. They skirted past the Blue Ridge Fighting Tigers 2-1. The win was some much needed relief for Travelers Rest as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Preston White and Marietta Sicurella scored both of Travelers Rest's goals, bringing their combined season tally to three goals.

Travelers Rest's victory bumped their record up to 3-11. As for Blue Ridge, they dropped their record down to 2-11-1 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road.
