Eagle Rock has gone 9-0-1 against Lincoln recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Eagle Rock Eagles will venture away from home to challenge the Lincoln Tigers at 4:30 p.m. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Eagle Rock fell victim to Marshall and their airtight defense on Wednesday. They lost 3-0 to the Barristers. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 775th, while the Barristers are ranked 189th).

Meanwhile, Lincoln was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of Wilson.

Lincoln's goal came courtesy of Edwin Dolores, which was the first he's scored this season.

Eagle Rock's loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 2-1-2 and their overall record down to 3-3-2. As for Lincoln, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-6-2.

Eagle Rock was able to grind out a solid victory over Lincoln when the teams last played back in January of 2024, winning 5-3. The rematch might be a little tougher for Eagle Rock since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
