NorthWood is 8-2 against Plymouth since December of 2014 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. Both will compete for holiday cheer at 7:30 p.m. NorthWood will be coming into the match with an undefeated record on the line.

NorthWood is headed into the contest after thoroughly thrashing Jimtown: they outscored them in every quarter. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that NorthWood blew Jimtown out of the water with a 61-26 final score. Given the Panthers' advantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked seventh, while the Jimmies are ranked 48th), the result on Tuesday wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Plymouth came into Tuesday's game having lost four straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They came out on top against Wabash by a score of 43-32 on Tuesday.

NorthWood's victory bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Plymouth, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-4.

NorthWood was able to grind out a solid victory over Plymouth in their previous matchup back in December of 2023, winning 58-46. The rematch might be a little tougher for NorthWood since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
