Soccer Recap: Landry Takes a Loss

Landry lost against Archbishop Shaw back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Landry Buccaneers came up short against the Archbishop Shaw Eagles, falling 8-0. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Buccaneers haven't been shut out since back in December of 2024.

Landry's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-8-1. As for Archbishop Shaw, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-4-2 record this season.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Wright the next time they take the pitch. Landry will head out to face Wright at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, while Archbishop Shaw will host them at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
