Basketball Recap: Oregon's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Oregon can finally bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Saturday. They came out on top against the Belvidere Bucs by a score of 57-47. This was payback for the Hawks, who suffered a 46-23 loss the last time these two teams met.

Oregon now has a winning record of 8-7. As for Belvidere, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost eight of their last ten matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-9 record this season.

Oregon will square off against Bureau Valley at 9:00 a.m. on January 4, 2025. Oregon is facing Bureau Valley at the right time seeing as Bureau Valley is stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Belvidere, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Hononegah at 7:15 p.m. on January 8, 2025.
