Football Recap: Ridgeway Takes a Loss

Ridgeway was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss dating back to last season. They were dealt a 35-0 defeat at the hands of the Lakeland Preparatory Lions.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Lakeland Preparatory to victory, but perhaps none more so than Brett Godwin, who threw for 202 yards and three touchdowns, and also punched in one TD on the ground. Anden Quinn was in the mix as well, providing the Lions with three scores.

Ridgeway's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Lakeland Preparatory, their record is now 3-4.

Ridgeway didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 51-6 defeat against Fayette Ware on the 10th. As for Lakeland Preparatory, they have also already played their next matchup, a 29-27 loss against Kirby on the 10th.
