Pewaukee won against Cedar Grove-Belgium on Friday with six runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Tuesday. The Pirates' pitchers stepped up to hand the Wisconsin Lutheran Vikings a 6-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Pirates, who have now won 11 contests by six runs or more so far this season.

The victory made it two in a row for Pewaukee and bumps their season record up to 16-3. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 5 runs in those games. As for Wisconsin Lutheran, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 12-5.

Pewaukee will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Vikings: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
