Fans were treated to a battle of the Eagles on Saturday. Utica Eisenhower came out on top against Lakeland by a score of 2-0. That's more bragging rights for Utica Eisenhower, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Liliana Gegovic paced Utica Eisenhower's offense, picking up eight kills. Gegovic got some help from Liliana Lily Tripi and her 24 assists. Gina Fedrigo controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

The win made it two in a row for Utica Eisenhower and bumps their season record up to 10-0-1. As for Lakeland, the defeat snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 5-3 record.

Utica Eisenhower has already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Lowell on the 6th. As for Lakeland, they will square off against South Lyon at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be the Eagles' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
