Baseball Recap: Timothy Christian vs. Somerset Tech Jaguars
Timothy Christian had lost ten straight at home dating back to last season, but on Tuesday they dropped their record down to 0-7 to make it 11. They lost 21-4 to the Somerset Tech Jaguars. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Somerset Tech this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 12-2 on Thursday.
As for Somerset Tech, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season. Their hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.
For Somerset Tech's part, Robert Caterinicchia made a splash no matter where he played. He tossed four innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off four hits.
