Platte Valley won the last time they faced Liberty Common and things went their way on Thursday too. The Broncos put the hurt on the Eagles with a sharp 3-0 win.

While Platte Valley won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-16, 25-22.

Bryla Bunting paced Platte Valley's offense, picking up seven kills. Bunting got some help from Megan Hunt and her 31 assists. Emery Martinez and Addy Grossnickle kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with three aces apiece.

Platte Valley has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-8 record this season. As for Liberty Common, they are on an 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-18.

Coming up, Platte Valley will venture away from home to face off against Weld Central at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Liberty Common, they will welcome Northridge at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
