Basketball Recap: Carroll Academy Starts Season with Win Against Indianola Academy

Carroll Academy took care of business in their home opener on Tuesday. They snuck past the Indianola Academy Colonels with a 42-37 win.

Despite the loss, Indianola Academy still got an impressive performance from Isaiah Morgan, who posted 11 points and six rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Patrick Davis, who shot 60% from the field en route to 15 points.

Indianola Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Carroll Academy will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Delta Streets Academy at 5:00 p.m. on the 12th. As for Indianola Academy, they have already played their next matchup, a 47-30 win against Deer Creek on the 20th.
