Volleyball Recap: Thorp Comes Up Short

If Thorp was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Greenwood last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Cardinals lost 3-0 to the Loyal Greyhounds on Tuesday. The defeat continues a trend for the Cardinals in their meetings with the Greyhounds: they've now lost three in a row.

The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-16, 25-14.

Thorp's loss dropped their record down to 4-18. As for Loyal, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 12 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-12 record this season.

Thorp does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Loyal, they have already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against McDonell Central on the 23rd.
