Basketball Recap: Tigard Takes a Loss

Tigard was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They were beaten by the West Linn Lions 49-13. The Tigers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 30-5.

West Linn's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kaylor Buse, who almost dropped a double-double on 15 points and nine steals. Buse has been hot, having posted three or more steals the last six times she's played. Another player making a difference was Reese Jordan, who posted 13 points and eight steals.

Tigard's loss dropped their record down to 4-12. As for West Linn, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 11-6.

Tigard has already played their next game (against St. Mary's Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. West Linn has already played their next match, a 68-43 victory against Oregon City on the 31st.
