Cedar Hill has no trouble against Tomball

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only the Cedar Hill Longhorns walked away with it. They put the hurt on the Cougars with a sharp 28-7 win on Saturday. The result was nothing new for Cedar Hill, who have now won seven matchups by 21 points or more so far this season.
Gary Hale threw for 30 yards on three of seven attempts.
The win (which was Cedar Hill's fifth in a row) raised their record to 8-5. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 45.6 points per game. As for Tomball, their loss dropped their record down to 8-5.
Cedar Hill will head out on the road to face off against DeSoto at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in DeSoto's favor is that they have posted big point totals every time they've taken the field this season. Tomball does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
