Football Game Preview: Hubbertville Lions vs. Hackleburg Panthers + How To Watch

The Hubbertville Lions will take on the Hackleburg Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hubbertville is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.

Hubbertville is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They blew past Woodland 67-27. The Lions might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten games by 30 points or more this season.

Hubbertville found their leader in sophomore Gavin Hubbert, who rushed for 109 yards and one TD on only seven carries. William Rushing got in on the action as well, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Hubbertville was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 367 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since the start of last season.

Hubbertville didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Braylon Hill and Rushing. Hill got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Panthers on Thursday. Hackleburg enjoyed a cozy 32-16 win over Spring Garden.

Hubbertville's victory bumped their record up to 11-0. As for Hackleburg, their win bumped their record up to 8-3.
