James Madison waltzed into their match on Tuesday with eight straight wins... but they left with nine. They came out on top against the Centreville Wildcats by a score of 3-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

James Madison had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 19-25, 25-18, 25-19, 25-8.

Laila Chadwick paced James Madison's offense, picking up 13 kills. Chadwick got some help from Briana Vo and her 31 assists. Chloe Barth controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

James Madison's win bumped their record up to 21-3-1. As for Centreville, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-9 record this season.
