Acadiana HomeSchool (Lafayette, La.) extended its winning streak to six games with a 30-13 victory over
Christian Home Educators Fellowship (Baton Rouge, La.) on Saturday.
The Commandos were up 16-7 at the half after taking the lead on a two-point conversion in the second quarter.
Acadiana HomeSchool saw its 9-point halftime lead fall to three entering the fourth.
Cooper Fruge was the top performer for AH. The senior running back ran for one touchdown. He has now scored 15 touchdowns on the season.
The Lafayette school had given up an average of 5.3 points prior to the contest. The Patriots' 13 points were well below their season average of 34.6 per game.
When the two teams played each other last season, the Commandos came away with a 36-34 victory.
The defeat comes as a step back for Christian Home Educators Fellowship, which notched a 50-6 victory over New Orleans HomeSchool Saints in its previous outing. The loss snapped Christian Home Educators Fellowship's 2-game winning streak.
