Volleyball Recap: Calvary Christian Academy Comes Up Short

Calvary Christian Academy was the 3-1 winner over Fremont Christian when they last played one another two weeks ago, but their luck changed this time around. The Lions came up short against the Warriors on Wednesday, falling 3-0. The shutout was out of character for the Lions seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in September.

Calvary Christian Academy was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Fremont Christian work for it, especially in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 25-22, 25-13.

Calvary Christian Academy now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Fremont Christian, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-12 record this season.

Calvary Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Fremont Christian, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Holy Names on the 16th.
