Soccer Recap: Springville Extends Winning Streak to Six

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Springville). They were the clear victors by a 10-0 margin over the St. Clair County Fighting Saints on Tuesday. The final result isn't all the surprising considering Springville's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Alabama soccer rankings (they are ranked 20th, while St. Clair County are ranked 192nd).

The victory (which was Springville's sixth in a row) raised their record to 9-1-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 43 goals over those six matchups. As for St. Clair County, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-8 record this season.
