Basketball Recap: East Hardy Takes Loss Despite Strong Performances from Chloe Miller and Brooklynn Tinnell

East Hardy played a tough game on Monday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They came up short against the Hampshire Trojans, falling 54-32. The Cougars were down 44-23 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Brooklynn Tinnell and Chloe Miller certainly did their best on Monday to avoid the loss. Tinnell posted 16 points and five steals, while Miller scored 12 points along with six boards and three steals. Miller has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last four times she's played.

East Hardy's defeat dropped their record down to 9-8. As for Hampshire, their record is now 11-9.

East Hardy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 59-48 loss against Musselman on the 21st. As for Hampshire, they have also already played their next contest, a 48-31 defeat against Allegany on the 19th.
