Basketball Recap: Timberlane Drops Season-High Score on Sanborn Regional

Timberlane is still winless after their matchup against Sanborn Regional on Friday, but the team can take solace in the fact it was the closest they've come to winning. They were three points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 70-67 heartbreaker at the hands of the Sanborn Regional Indians. One positive for the Owls, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Timberlane's loss dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Sanborn Regional, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-3.

Timberlane has already played their next game (against Alvirne), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Sanborn Regional will host Kingswood at 6:30 p.m. on January 24th. Sanborn Regional has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 217 points over their last three contests.
