Basketball Game Preview: Cardington-Lincoln Pirates vs. Clear Fork Colts

The Cardington-Lincoln Pirates will face off against the Clear Fork Colts at 7:15 p.m. on Saturday.

Last Wednesday, Cardington-Lincoln came up short against Buckeye Central and fell 45-32. The Pirates have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Kinstin Henthorn, who posted nine points and five boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Madison Caulkins, who had five points and five rebounds.

Meanwhile, Clear Fork didn't have too much trouble with River Valley on Thursday as they won 48-29. Given the Colts' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 88th, while the Vikings are ranked 440th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Clear Fork has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 15 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 18-3 record this season. As for Cardington-Lincoln, they now have a losing record at 10-11.

Things could have been worse for Cardington-Lincoln, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 54-38 loss to Clear Fork when the teams last played back in February of 2024.
