It's playoff time, and Riverdale Academy had no trouble coming through when it counted. They simply couldn't be stopped on Wednesday as they easily beat the Tallulah Academy Trojans 66-6. The Rebels have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 24 contests by 21 points or more this season.

The victory (which was Riverdale Academy's 21st in a row) raised their record to 28-5. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 26.2 points per game. As for Tallulah Academy, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Riverdale Academy will take on Tensas Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Riverdale Academy knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past eight games -- so hopefully Tensas Academy likes a good challenge. Tallulah Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
