Basketball Recap: Niobrara County Wins Going Away Against Southeast

Niobrara County's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They enjoyed a cozy 44-30 win over the Southeast Cyclones. For the Tigers, this counts as revenge for the 46-39 victory the Cyclones walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February of 2024.

Niobrara County's win bumped their record up to 11-1. As for Southeast, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-6 record this season.

When Niobrara County and Southeast next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Niobrara County will try to stop Upton's ten-game winning streak when the meet at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Southeast will challenge Lingle-Fort Laramie and their 13-game winning streak at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
