Madison entered their tilt with Village Tech on Friday with five consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with six. They walked away with a 69-61 victory over the Village Tech Viper Squid. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 83-59 back in January.

Despite the loss, Village Tech had strong showings from Isaiah Thomas, who went 11 for 18 en route to 26 points, and Jacori Cathey, who went 9 of 16 on his way to 19 points and five steals. That's the most points Cathey has posted since back in December of 2024. Bryson Gaines was another key player, putting up ten points and eight boards.

Madison pushed their record up to 15-12 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 78.5 points per game. As for Village Tech, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 21-6 record.

Madison will venture away from home to challenge Trinity Leadership at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Village Tech, they will welcome Inspired Vision at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Village Tech is facing Inspired Vision at the right time seeing as Inspired Vision is stuck on an 11-game losing streak.
