Volleyball Game Preview: Redwood Christian Eagles vs. Head-Royce Jayhawks

The Redwood Christian Eagles will challenge the Head-Royce Jayhawks at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Tuesday, Redwood Christian didn't have quite enough to beat Bentley and fell 3-2.

Redwood Christian actually scored more points across those five sets (102-100), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The final score came out to 25-19, 23-25, 12-25, 25-23, 15-10.

Meanwhile, Head-Royce unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell just short of College Prep by a score of 3-2.

Head-Royce was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made College Prep work for it, especially in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 28-26, 25-11, 23-25, 22-25, 15-12.

Redwood Christian's loss dropped their record down to 9-7. As for Head-Royce, their defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 7-5.
