Soccer Recap: North Fayette Valley Takes a Loss

North Fayette Valley lost against Hudson back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. North Fayette Valley came up short against Hudson, falling 6-0. While losing is never fun, North Fayette Valley can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Iowa soccer rankings (they are ranked 89th, while Hudson is ranked 21st).

North Fayette Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 5-3-4. As for Hudson, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 19-4.

North Fayette Valley has already played their next game, a 0-0 draw against Aplington-Parkersburg on the 9th. As for Hudson, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Dike-New Hartford on the 9th.
