Football Recap: Newfield Comes Up Short on the Road Against Connetquot

Newfield had to start their season on the road on Friday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They took a blow against the Connetquot T-Birds, falling 42-6. The Wolverines were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the T-Birds apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2021.

Newfield has already played their next matchup (against Moravia), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Connetquot, they will square off against Bellport at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
