Basketball Recap: Harrison Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Harrison, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Paulding County Patriots on Friday, sneaking past 51-49. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Hoyas as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Several Patriots players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jerron Wilson, who posted 15 points and seven assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Sebastien Okullo, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and ten rebounds.

Harrison's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-8. As for Paulding County, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 11-8 record this season.

Harrison will host McEachern at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. McEachern will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Harrison surely won't give up without a fight. As for Paulding County, they will challenge Osborne at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Paulding County is facing Osborne at the right time seeing as Osborne is stuck on an eight-game losing streak.
