Volleyball Recap: High School of the Future Comes Up Short

High School of the Future was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 3-1 to the Overbrook Panthers. The Firebirds were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Panthers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2023.

The final score came out to 25-10, 25-20, 16-25, 25-7.

High School of the Future's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Overbrook, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. After both having extra time off, High School of the Future and Bodine will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Overbrook, they will venture away from home to square off against Motivation at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
