Softball Recap: Milbank Bulldogs vs. Redfield Pheasants
Milbank is still looking for their season's first win. They lost 12-6 to the Redfield Pheasants on Monday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Milbank of the 16-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April.
Addisyn Krause and Abigail Pillatzki stepped up to the plate in a big way. Krause scored two runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-3, while Pillatzki scored two runs and stole three bases while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.
Milbank's defeat dropped their record down to 0-15. As for Redfield, the win got them back to even at 5-5.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Milbank will take on Arlington/Lake Preston on Tuesday. As for Redfield, they will head out on the road to face off against Mobridge-Pollock at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
