Soccer Game Preview: Sheridan vs. Arrupe Jesuit

The Sheridan Rams are taking a road trip to face off against the Arrupe Jesuit Generals at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Sheridan's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for five straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Sheridan's offense. They lost 8-0 to Jefferson on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, Arrupe Jesuit managed to keep up with Elizabeth until halftime on Wednesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Generals came up short against the Cardinals, falling 5-1. Arrupe Jesuit's defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Sheridan's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Arrupe Jesuit, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-2.

Sheridan suffered a grim 10-0 defeat to Arrupe Jesuit in their previous meeting back in March of 2024. Can the Rams avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
