It was a good run, but Bonham unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Friday. They fell to the Farmersville Farmers 55-50. The Warriors were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Farmers earlier this season, when they won 62-59.

Bonham lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Heath Brown, who went 5 for 9 on his way to 13 points in addition to six boards and three steals. Brown is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last four games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Dj Stewart, who went 5 of 10 on his way to 12 points.

Bonham's loss dropped their record down to 10-4. As for Farmersville, their victory bumped their record up to 6-3.

Bonham wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 54-33 defeat against Greenville on the 14th. As for Farmersville, they will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Grand Saline at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
