Del Oro extended their winning streak to three on Friday, bumping them up to 6-3. They walked away with a 10-7 victory over the St. Francis Troubadours. Ten seems to be a good number for the Golden Eagles as the team scooped up a win with the same number of runs in their previous game.
Del Oro got a great performance from Katharine Popovski as she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out seven over 4.1 innings pitched. Popovski has been consistent: she hasn't given up a single earned run in five consecutive appearances.
