Basketball Recap: Spectrum Comes Up Short

Spectrum was the 62-46 winner over Ogilvie when they last played one another back in January of 2025, but their luck changed this time around. The Sting took a 62-52 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lions on Thursday.

Spectrum's defeat dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Ogilvie, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-8.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Spectrum will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Pine City at 1:00 p.m. on February 17. As for Ogilvie, they will venture away from home to challenge Hinckley-Finlayson at 1:00 p.m. on Monday.
