Soccer Recap: Macarthur Falls Short Against Ranked Jackson-Reed

MacArthur faced Jackson-Reed in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Wednesday. The Mammoths came up short against the Tigers, falling 11-1. Things were pretty much settled by the half as MacArthur were already down 5-0.

MacArthur dropped their record down to 2-5 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for Jackson-Reed, the win was the 12th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-1.

Looking ahead, MacArthur will be defending their home pitch for the first time this season when they go up against Roosevelt at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Jackson-Reed, they will challenge Washington International at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
