Football Game Preview: Stewarts Creek Red Hawks vs. Smyrna Bulldogs + Official Tickets

Stewarts Creek is 1-9 against Smyrna since August of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Red Hawks will challenge the Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. Stewarts Creek has given up an average of 27.6 points per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Stewarts Creek is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 49 points last Friday, they were much more limited against Oakland on Friday. They took a blow against the Patriots, falling 49-0. The game marked the first time this year in which the Red Hawks were not able to get on the board.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Smyrna, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They blew past LaVergne, posting a 42-0 win. That looming 42-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Bulldogs yet this season.

Smyrna's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-5. The home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 41.0 points over those games. As for Stewarts Creek, they now also have a losing record of 4-5.

Stewarts Creek took their victory against Smyrna in their previous meeting back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 21-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Red Hawks since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
