Meanwhile, Desert Edge kept a clean sheet against Apollo on Friday. Everything went their way against the Hawks as they made off with an 8-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Scorpions, who have now won six games by three goals or more so far this season.

Valley Vista now has a losing record at 3-4-1. As for Desert Edge, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-1-1.
