Softball Recap: Beamer Comes Up Short

Beamer managed to slip by Enumclaw the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Titans lost 21-1 to the Hornets on Friday. Surprisingly, this marked the fourth straight game that the away team has come away the victor.

Beamer saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ayris Thurman, who went 1-for-3 with one RBI.

Beamer's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Enumclaw, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-2-1 record this season.

Beamer will host Auburn at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Titans are facing the Trojans at the right time seeing as the Trojans are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Enumclaw, they will head out to challenge Decatur at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Hornets 3.5, the Golden Gators 4) so any runs scored will be well earned.
