Soccer Recap: Mountain Range Starts off Right with Win over Pomona

Mountain Range took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Thursday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Pomona Panthers a 9-0 shutout. Mountain Range have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw Pomona, too.

Mountain Range's offense was hitting Pomona from everywhere, as seven different players booted in a goal. Bryan Castorena Morales led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

Mountain Range wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, a 3-1 defeat against Bear Creek on the 26th. As for Pomona, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 5-1 loss against Prairie View on the 26th.
