After a string of four wins, Somerville's good fortune finally ran out on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Revere Patriots by a score of 3-2. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Highlanders of the 3-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.

Somerville's loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 5-1 and their overall record down to 7-3. As for Revere, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season.

Somerville will square off against Chelsea at 5:15 p.m. on Monday. The Highlanders are facing the Red Devils at the right time seeing as the Red Devils are stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Revere, they will challenge Lawrence at 2:30 p.m. on Friday.
