Basketball Recap: Villa Angela-St. Joseph Takes a Loss

Villa Angela-St. Joseph was the 63-56 winner over Hawken when they last played one another back in February of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Villa Angela-St. Joseph Vikings fell to the Hawken Hawks 69-63.

Despite the loss, Villa Angela-St. Joseph still got an impressive performance from Jeremiah Martin, who went 9 for 15 en route to 29 points. That's the most points Martin has posted since back in March of 2024. Another player making a difference was Antonio Brown, who had eight points in addition to eight rebounds and seven assists.

Even though they lost, Villa Angela-St. Joseph smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 16 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive boards they've managed all season.
