DALLAS, Ga. -
North Paulding (Dallas, Ga.) put an additional eight points on the board on top of its 28-point lead going into the fourth quarter to beat out Paulding County (Dallas, Ga.) 50-14.
After taking the lead on a passing touchdown in the first quarter, the Wolfpack led 28-7 at the half.
North Paulding expanded its lead to 28 points entering the fourth quarter. NP scored two times in the third, including once on a touchdown pass by
Chase Noonan to
Corn Collins.
Noonan stood out for the Wolfpack in the win. He threw two touchdowns and ran for one touchdown.
North Paulding came in allowing an average of 23.8 points per game this season.
The victory will ease some of the sting of NP's close 41-37 loss to the Patriots last season.
The win was a nice bounce back for the Wolfpack, which lost to Rome last week, 57-56.
Paulding County (1-8) will play a AAAAA Region 5 game against South Paulding next week, while North Paulding (7-2) will take on Allatoona also in a AAAAA Region 5 game.
