Basketball Game Preview: South Iredell Vikings vs. Bandys Trojans + How To Watch

The South Iredell Vikings will square off against the Bandys Trojans at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. South Iredell has given up an average of 59.5 points per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

South Iredell saw some tournament action on Friday. They were outmatched by North Mecklenburg and fell 67-37. South Iredell has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Bandys took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Monday. They put the hurt on Wilkes Central with a sharp 76-50 victory.

South Iredell better focus on containing Evan Robinson and Kayden Henrickson as the pair were huge in Bandys' win. Robinson went 8-for-12 en route to 20 points along with seven rebounds and five steals, while Henrickson shot 40% from the field to rack up 18 points and seven boards. Those 18 points gave Henrickson a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Brady Swett, who went 5-for-7 on his way to 12 points and eight rebounds.

South Iredell's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Bandys, their win was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 1-0.

South Iredell suffered a grim 68-44 defeat to Bandys in their previous matchup back in November of 2023. Thankfully for the Vikings, Landon Vaughan (who almost dropped a double-double with 23 points and nine boards) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
