Softball Recap: Jamestown Comes Up Short

Jamestown fell victim to Fredonia and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They came up short against the Hillbillies, falling 10-0. The Red & Green haven't had much luck with the Hillbillies recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.

Jamestown's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Fredonia, their victory was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Jamestown will challenge rival Dunkirk at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Fredonia is set to square off against their familiar foe Salamanca at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
