Football Game Recap: Southwest/Hale/Tina-Avalon vs. Rock Port

After a big victory against North Nodaway/West Nodaway three weeks ago, Rock Port came back down to earth. Rock Port were given a punishing 20-69 defeat at the hands of Southwest/Hale/Tina-Avalon. Rock Port were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Southwest/Hale/Tina-Avalon apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat from the last time the teams met up.

The loss dropped Rock Port's record to 4-3. The victory bumped Southwest/Hale/Tina-Avalon's record up to 6-1.

Next week Rock Port take on South Holt/Nodaway-Holt at 7:00 PM. Both of these teams will be looking for a pick-me-up after considerable defeats in their previous games. As for Southwest/Hale/Tina-Avalon, they will face off against North Nodaway/West Nodaway.
