 In what's become a running theme this season, Dunmore gave their fans yet another huge  win on Monday. They came out on top against the Montrose Meteors by a score of  8-2 (the very same score they lost by in their prior game). That's more bragging rights for Dunmore, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.
  Rachel Walsh spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned  (and one unearned) run on five hits and racked up 12 Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  pitched less than five  innings every time she's  pitched this season.
 At the plate,  the team  relied heavily on  Tristan Canavan, who  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 1-for-2. She is on a roll when it comes to  home runs, as she's  now  launched  at least one in the last three games she's  played. Another player making a difference was  Emily McGowan, who  scored a  run while going 3-for-4.
 Dunmore's victory bumped their record up to 12-8. As for Montrose, they are  on  an  eight-game losing streak  (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.
 As of now, neither Dunmore nor Montrose have any future games scheduled.
